Wild Strawberries cover my yard in the Summer, mini versions of the larger varieties that the cardinals and other birds seem to love to graze on. They are super resilient and add this incredible pop of red, and Strawberries have rich folk magic traditions. It is said splitting a strawberry between two people will bring sweetness and love, or drying the leaves and carrying them will bring good luck and fortune.
