The God of Wine is also one of mischief, dramatics, sacred fruit trees and for bringing his followers to such madness they would throw off the constraints of conventional thinking and society. He is thought to be what inspired Greek Theatre and festivals thrown in his honor ruffled the Roman ruling class as they were depravity that transcended class and gender.
