Lunar Ceremony O-Ring || Pendant

Lunar Ceremony O-Ring || Pendant
A solid Sterling Crescent Moon was first carved from wax and individually sand cast to create lunar texture in the Moon, and hangs from an O-Ring on 17.5 inches of chain. It can be worn shorter if the wearer chooses as the fish hook style clasp slides through the links.
The moon has been an important source of symbolism and mythology throughout history. It is a celestial body that illuminates the night sky while its waxing and waning phases provide light and darkness. This dichotomy of light and dark is reflected in many cultures’ interpretations of the moon, with most viewing it as representing duality, renewal, and change. The moon is often seen as a symbol of transformation, linked to the idea that by observing its phases, one can gain insight into their own life and the changes that come with it.
“Art thou pale for weariness
Of climbing Heaven, and gazing on the earth,
Wandering companionless
Among the stars that have a different birth,—
And ever changing, like a joyless eye
That finds no object worth its constancy?” -Percy Shelley
